From taking the learning styles test it has indicated that I have preferred learning styles of logical, solitary, physical and social. I have found it interesting that I my learning styles include both social and solitary which to me seem to be contradict each other.In a class of 25 students different learning styles need to be considered. I would encourage to use all seven different learning styles to engage the learners who enjoy that particular style and also provide an opportunity for students to experience new learning styles.
In my preferred teaching of high school science I would encourage students to use computers to demonstrate scientific process such as the journey of the digestive system: what organs are involved, processes involved and problems that can occur. The main purpose would be for the students to interact with the topic.

ReplyDeleteWell congrats on the blog creation!, I am looking at your learning style that was created through Memletics, and i'm so glad to see that it's working properly ! I was affraid maybe every australian was level across all areas of learning styles as when I completed mine, I was pretty evenely based across all except for Logical (Which is a little insulting ;) ) I am excited to see a definate bell curve in yours :)
To me, your learning style inventory shows me that you are quite an outgoing, bubbly person with a love of socialising and meeting people, live a fast paced life and live life by the book?
